The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
